Over the past few months we've been very lucky to share the stage with some great bands who we've been really into, so we've added some of these to our mix as well as bands we shall soon be playing with in the next few weeks, along with some more tracks which have been on our stereo recently.

It feels like ages since our last show, with Three Trapped Tigers and Tall Ships in Birmingham a couple of months back. Good times had but we've been hella busy though writing loads of new stuff, recording and not letting mega illness get in the way of super exciting plans.

This Saturday however we can forget about all that, we'll be heading to Manchester for our first gig outside of Birmingham at the awesome Underacheivers Please Try Harder night at Gullivers. Were really looking forward to this and the next few days is where we try to work setlists and whether all our equipment works. Something always fails on us usually a day before a gig. I personally blame 1970's electronic manufacturing.

Anyway, it would be aces to meet some of the locals (and not so local), judging by the DJ playlist on the Underacheivers website you'll probably find us busting some shapes after the gig. Come say hello!

This June we are mainly recording in various basements, so if it's sunny outside guess we're gonna miss out on it, but then if we'd recorded previously in a sunny place we'd probably sound more like this which thinking about it would be pretty ace in all fairness.

Recording aside the purpose of this update is to announce our first show in Manchester will be on Saturday 9th July at the "Underachievers Please Try Harder" clubnight held at new Oldham St alternative bar Gullivers, very very excited about this so will let you know more as we near it, but for now check out their site and especially the tracklistings for the past nights, some rather sublime selections I'm sure you'll agree.

We've been buzzing off this band for a while now, Arrivals is an album that we just can't get enough over the past few years but Woriedaboutsatan seem to be taking a break from things to concentrate on a new project called Ghosting Season. Judging by the teaser video they've posted it sounds just as awesome. Check it.

BACK TO THE OFFICE

Following on from last week we're now back in our fridge/oven (weather depending) continuing work on new songs, heading off to record up in Liverpool and then Birmingham in June ......

Everything is coming together for some very special news to be revealed in July as well as some exciting gigs, one of which is already announced: we will be playing Off The Cuff Festival at the end of July, sharing the bill with Dananananaykroyd, Flashguns and Tall Ships on the closing day, one year on from our debut gig at the very same festival in 2010, this will be special, tickets are available here.

So till next time we best get back to writing our latest '8 minute radio ineligable hit', inabit.

Massive massive thanks to everyone who came down to see us open for Tall Ships / Three Trapped Tigers last night in Birmingham, it was an ace night, both bands were immense! And having spent the afternoon getting glue everywhere making up the 50 individually polaroided free CDs (see above) we were mighty happy when they all found new homes, we hope those of you who managed to get one enjoy it, it's not gonna be a regular thing so if you missed out I'm afraid you're gonna have to hold out for the real thing, more news in that department later this summer, for now we're back in our room, building something new for your ears, until next time........
